Early Traffic Warning!
*In Tazewell County...beginning Monday, July 7th through mid-October, Springfield Road will be closed between Broadway Road and Allentown Road for intersection safety improvements. The posted detour will include Route 9 to Veterans Road to Broadway. Broadway thru-traffic will be allowed to cross Springfield Road.
*In Tazewell County...beginning Monday, July 7th through mid-October, Townline Road will be closed from Springfield Road to Townline Road for bridge replacement. The posted detour will include Springfield Road to Toboggan Avenue to Towerline Road.
*In Knox County, near Williamsfield, on Monday July 7th, IL Route 180 will be closed from eight miles north of the US 150/IL Route 180 intersection to the IL Route 180/County Highway 24 intersection for culvert work. The work is scheduled through the end of the July.
*In Bartonville, starting Monday July 7th, the right lane of eastbound Route 24 over the Kickapoo Creek will be closed for bridge painting. The entrance ramps to I474 will remain open. The work will continue until late July.
*Beginning Tuesday, July 8th and for about a week (including Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th) bridge inspections will occur in various location on I-74, I-155 and Route 150 in Tazewell County. The I-74 work will be between the Morton Avenue Interchange to the I-74/I-155 interchange. Intermittent lane closures can be expected. The weekend work will be in Morton at the Jefferson Street tunnels under I-74.

Traffic Warning!
*In Putnam County...construction work continues on two structures on Route 29 near the town of Putnam. The first structure is approximately one mile north of Putnam over Senachwine Creek. The second structure is approximately two miles south of Putnam near the Illinois River tributary. Route 29 will be reduced to one lane with signal controlled traffic. The work is scheduled through the end of August.
*In Morton...patching work on Morton Avenue from US 150 to I-74. The work is expected to last about a month.
*Near the Tazewell/McLean Counties line, just west of Danvers, Route 9 is closed to all traffic for bridge repairs The work is scheduled through mid-August.
*In Fulton County...near Duncan Mills, beginning Monday June 2nd, US Route 24 one mile southwest of the US Route 24/Route 136 intersection will be down to one lane, signal controlled one-way traffic for bridge repairs. The work is scheduled until the end of September.
*In Tazewell County...Townline Road from Springfield Road to I-155, will go down to one lane at times for resurfacing.
*In Mossville, a major reconstruction project is underway at the Route 6 exit ramp to intersection Route 29 and at the Route 6 & Route 29 intersection and Route 6 & State Street intersection. The current Route 6 pavement will be removed and replaced. The exit ramp will be resurfaced. The Route 6 and Route 29 intersection will be milled and resurfaced and new stop and go lights will be installed. In addition, two new left turn lanes will be added from Route 6 to northbound Route 29. The intersection of Route 6 and State Street will have new signals and two new right turn lanes from State Street to Route 6. The work is scheduled through November 2008.
*In Peoria County...Trivoli Road will be closed between Todd School Road and Glasford Road for bridge replacement. The road will be closed through September.
*In Mapleton...Wheeler Road is closed just east of the Glasford Blacktop to repair the structure over Dry Run Creek. The clsoure will be in place through the end of July.
*In Peoria County, near Mapleton. through Friday May 2nd, Maple Ridge Road is scheduled closed for culvert work.
*In Marshall County, patching and resurfacing work on Route 29 from Sparland to Henry. Daytime lane restrictions are expected. The work is scheduled through August.
*In Bartonville,Pfeiffer Road just west of Airport Road is one-lane only for both directions controlled by temporary signals. The signals at Airport and Pfeiffer Roads will remain on flash.
*In Peoria County...Elmore Road is closed between Peoria Galesburg Trial and Swab Run Road for emergency bridge repairs.
*In Tazewell County... Route 29 is scheduled down to one lane traffic over Crane Creek, 3.5 miles south of Green Valley for bridge construction. The work is expected to be completed by early September 2008.

*In Tazewell County (Dillon Township)... the Cedar Bluffs Road Bridge will be closed until further notice.
*In Woodford County, resurfacing work on Route 150 from Goodfield to the McLean County Line
*In Brimfield Township, Cedar Bluff Road is scheduled closed between Gerber and Claybaugh Road for bridge replacement.
